Graphic Designer, Tattoo Artist, & Musician
Sarah Snider is a multifaceted creative based in Brooklyn, where she seamlessly integrates her passions for graphic design, tattooing, and music.
Her journey began at an early age, guided by her web designer father, who introduced her to the world of HTML/CSS and graphic design at a young age after seeing her interest in making graphics and layouts on Neopets. This early exposure sparked a lifelong love for design and technology while teaching her the valuable lesson of independently learning new skills.
Sarah’s talents were recognized with the highest scholarship to attend Oberlin College, where she studied Technology in Music and Related Arts with a concentration in Studio Art. This foundation led her to New York City, where she pursued a career in graphic design and music. By day she honed her skills in the creative industry as a graphic designer and taught herself the art of tattooing by night.
By 2019, Sarah had gained a substantial Instagram following for her distinctive fine-line realism tattoo style. This lead her to make the bold decision to leave her graphic design job and commit to tattooing full-time, yet she remains passionate about her graphic design roots.
In 2020, she was given the opportunity to be an Artist-In-Residence at Performance Space New York in 2020 with her collective Brujas. During this residency, she launched Radio Bonita for which she created all of the branding and design.
Alongside her design and tattooing career, Sarah has been an active participant in the music scene as a DJ, composer, and keyboardist. Sarah’s work and artistic expression continue to inspire and captivate, bridging her interests in design, tattooing, and music into a unique and dynamic career.
